She earned an R.N. from St. Anthony’s School of Nursing. Ms. Deery previously was Co-Owner of the Hugh Deery Agency. She is a Developer and Manager of Deery Building, Owner and President of Forest Hills Lodge, Inc., and Owner and Chief Executive Officer of Deery Companies, Inc. Additionally, Ms. Deery is a Licensed Insurance Agent and a Notary Public. She is the recipient of numerous awards including Racing Promoter of the Year, the Margaret Sheldon Memorial Award for Volunteer of the Year from the American Cancer Society, and was honored as Woman of the Year by the Diocesan Council of Catholic Women and Catholic Services Auxiliary. Ms. Deery has been featured in trade publications, racing websites, and racing newspapers. She is a Board Member of the American Lung Association Auxiliary and the St. Anne Center Advisory Board. In her leisure time she enjoys car racing, basketball, football, and performing charity work.
