1. Cut the Size of Dingtone by Almost Half

2. Greatly reduced calling rates to high rate countries
With each new release, Dingtone aims to bring customers something new to enjoy that helps them stay closer with family and friends. This time, Dingtone manages to greatly reduce calling rates to high rate countries such as Cuba, Haiti, Somalia, etc, so that users can talk longer and spend less with loved ones.
3. Number Port Out
Dingtone phone numbers can now be ported out to SIM card service providers. Users just need to submit a request for number port out from within Dingtone and then go to the SIM card service provider to request a number transfer. Dingtone and the mobile service provider will work together to have the Dingtone number transferred into the user’s SIM card.
4. Cloud Backup
With brand-new Dingtone cloud backup, users with multiple devices will never worry about missing conversation log or files. By enabling the backup option, data including contacts, picture, voice messages and chat log will get automatically restored.
Other new functions in this release include:
- Use Dingtone Number for log-in: Users that have a private Dingtone number can use that as their login ID instead of their mobile phone number.
- New “Connect” screen: Users can quickly press on the “Connect” screen to easily access often used functions such as Walkie-Talkie, Call Recordings and Conference Call.
- Fax function optimization: They added some color to fax feature by enabling a cover page and signature. Users now can add a cover page and signature when sending fax; these are the small gestures that make differences.
