FedEx Delivers Employment Support to Military Spouses Through Grant to Military Spouse Corporate Career Network
FedEx donates funds to Military Spouse Corporate Career Network (MSCCN) to connect military spouses with employment opportunities.
Lake St. Louis, MO, June 29, 2016 --(PR.com)-- The Military Spouse Corporate Career Network (MSCCN) is the proud recipient of a generous donation of $25,000 from FedEx toward their military spouse employment initiative. This donation will enable MSCCN to further expand their ability to reach military spouses on the job market. MSCCN will use these funds to continue providing military spouses with employment readiness training, job placement, and practical solutions for the complex struggles they face as they maintain their own professional goals while constantly on the move.
Deb Kloeppel, MSCCN’s Founder and President, celebrated FedEx’s commitment to the military spouse community.
“This generous donation by FedEx exemplifies their belief in the importance of corporate community involvement as well as their dedication to the military community. Their donation will allow us to grow our Employment Specialist team in order to help more military spouses.”
FedEx’s investment in MSCCN’s mission to help military spouses and caregivers is part and parcel of the company’s global giving platform, FedEx Cares, including focused goals to create employment pathways, opportunities for entrepreneurship, and a more connected global community.
“FedEx is proud to help connect military families with meaningful job opportunities,” said Neil Gibson, Vice President, Corporate Communications, FedEx Services. “Through FedEx Cares, we are able to leverage our global reach to provide pathways to success for the spouses of the men and women who serve our country.”
MSCCN is grateful and excited to expand their military spouse employment initiative through this relationship with FedEx. This donation at home marks improved employment resources for military spouses stationed around the world.
