Intellias Becomes an IT Partner of Engineering Job Fair
Intellias has acted as an IT partner of Engineering Job Fair, an event which assembled more than 26 participating companies, both local-based and those with international operations. The company has leveraged the latest web technologies to broaden the online reach of the event. Additionally, Intellias presented one of its latest branded marketing materials – the Developer’s Calendar.
Lviv, Ukraine, January 16, 2008 --(PR.com)-- Following a well-grounded tradition of conducting technology-related professional events all over Europe, the Lviv branch of international student organization BEST has held the Engineering Job Fair over November 28 and 29. The pioneering event has implemented the wide-ranging experience of the similar professional arrangements in Germany, Poland and Romania.
The fair hosted 26 leading international and Ukrainian companies, which presented their internship and employment opportunities. The representatives of the participating companies have carried out presentations and seminars on their general profile, working conditions and application procedures. The organizing committee has purposed to create a favorable environment for communication and networking between students and employers.
It is worth mentioning that approximately 100,000 students attend local higher educational establishments with one third of them specializing in technical majors. No wonder that the fair attracted prominent players from the variety of technical backgrounds (British American Tobacco, Accenture, PriceWaterhouseCoopers, Telrad Networks, etc).
With extensive pool of IT students (14 IT-related majors), Lviv National Polytechnic University of Lviv has become one of the most prominent IT institutions in Western Ukraine. The quality standards of education are significantly high, since the university is actively implementing the latest developments of the Bologna process.
Consequently, Engineering Job Fair facilitated Intellias in its plans to maintain tight connections with leading regional universities to attract local talent. The company’s corporate agenda included not only stand presentations, but also a software development quiz and the public release of Developer’s Calendar, marking the most important dates in IT and programming.
Alongside with that, Intellias has contributed to the Fair as its IT partner, providing solutions to strengthen the online presence of the event.
