BMG India Announces Five Day Transactional DFSS Course in Bangalore

Design for Six Sigma is a powerful problem solving methodology aimed at tackling a core issue facing many of today’s products and services - that 80% of all defects are “designed in.” Design flaws can prevent standard Six Sigma methods such as DMAIC from achieving true “Six Sigma” levels of performance.

Mumbai, India, January 16, 2008 --(PR.com)-- Service businesses are a key driver of today’s economy; business process outsourcing is a key industry in Indian economic growth. Continued growth in this sector is dependent on the ongoing development of breakthrough service processes and products. Yet sadly, fewer than 50 percent of service organizations employ a formal new product or process development effort. This lack of well defined processes can lead to inefficient resource utilization, failed service launches and even dissatisfied customers.

Design for Six Sigma is a powerful problem solving methodology aimed at tackling a core issue facing many of today’s products and services - that 80% of all defects are “designed in”. Design flaws can prevent standard Six Sigma methods such as DMAIC from achieving true “Six Sigma” levels of performance. Breakthrough improvement ultimately requires a Six Sigma team to either create new products / services or to re-design existing ones using DFSS. Design for Six Sigma is a powerful problem prevention and solving methodology aimed at tackling this core business challenge.
