NJ Center for Tourette Syndrome Announces 2016 Youth Scholarship Award Winners
Students with TS throughout New Jersey are recognized for their achievements.
Somerville, NJ, July 01, 2016 --(PR.com)-- NJ Center for Tourette Syndrome & Associated Disorders, Inc. (NJCTS) is proud to announce the 2016 recipients of the annual Youth Scholarship Award. Each student was selected for his or her academic achievement, community service, and accomplishments as an individual with Tourette Syndrome—an inherited, misunderstood, misdiagnosed neurological disorder that affects 1 in 100 school-age children.
Since 2001, the NJCTS Youth Scholarship Award has been awarded to more than 200 outstanding high school seniors in the state of New Jersey who have excelled in their schools, communities, and lives—representing themselves as excellent advocates for Tourette Syndrome.
This year’s NJCTS Youth Scholarship Award winners are:
· Sean Kennedy of Turnersville, First place
· Madeline Onesti of Woodstown, Second place
· Jordan Tantuico of Union, Second place
· Nicholas Frantz of Galloway, finalist
· Noelle Gizzi of West Caldwell, finalist
· Curtis J. Knorr of Hackettstown, finalist
· Sebastian Lijo of Branchburg, finalist
· Zachary Muniz of Long Valley, finalist
· Kyle Ossowski of Lawrenceville, finalist
· Eric Rushinski of Burlington Township, finalist
· Meghan Schiereck of Delran, finalist
· Michael Schluter of Fair Haven, finalist
