Among its key features are its remote security device management (RDSM) capabilities, which enable centralized management for virtual smart cards. This version also supports Yubikey tokens from Yubico for personal identity verification (PIV) use cases.
This new version of vSEC:CMS also has these attributes:
* Allows Thales nShield hardware security module (HSM) to be used for card management system (CMS) master keys
* Supports additional SMS providers, including Certificall, Clickatell, Tyntec, Dolphin and others for mobile notifications
* Offers a customizable interface for setting up connections to external components such as PKIs, printers and databases
* Supports Opentrust PKI 4.8.1
* Enables configuration of smart card access by smart card type.
