Yetzer's Home Furnishings Sold
After 75 years of being family owned, most recently by Steve Yetzer and previously his Uncle, Wilfred Yetzer, the Waconia, MN home furnishings and flooring company has been sold to long time retailer and Shakopee, MN resident Thomas D. Wiest.
Waconia, MN, July 02, 2016 --(PR.com)-- Yetzer's Home Furnishings and Floor Coverings of Waconia, MN has been sold to long time retailer Thomas D. Wiest.
Wiest joined Yetzer's last year as they worked through the details of the 100% complete purchase of the furniture and floor business from Steve Yetzer who purchased the business in 1988.
Wiest has over 30 plus years in retailing, most of it in multi-unit retail roles managing from 20 to 120 stores at one time and in various retail operations driven corporate positions. Given the strengths he brings to the plate he will definitely compliment the team in place there now, said Yetzer.
Wiest has lived in Shakopee, MN for the last 15 years, married for over 25 years with two children, a son going to UMD and a daughter going to Shakopee Junior High this fall.
