"Stockholm Stories" by Askin Ozcan--A New Book of Memoirs, Unbiased, Interesting, Original; A True Document of Thirty Years of Encounters in This Lovely City of the North

Askin Ozcan chose Stockholm, Sweden, to settle in, after having lived in many countries. In as much as this was his personal choice, he doesn't deny that there was also an element of "miracle" in this choice, which he explains in his book, "Stockholm Stories." The book is an interesting, unbiased account of his life in Stockholm, mentioning the author's positive and negative experiences in it, during his thirty years of residence.

Stockholm, Sweden, January 16, 2008 --(PR.com)-- "Stockholm Stories" is an interesting and exciting book, both for those who are total strangers of this City and would like to learn about it and for the natives of Stockholm who wish to know what foreigners think about their City.

Askin Ozcan, who is the author of five books and several novelettes for film, as well as hundreds of articles on general subjects and tourism, knows well how to combine his memoirs with what the reader expects to find in such a book of memoirs.

He starts his book with his first glimpses of Stockholm, in 1959, as a young student. He later comes to it briefly in 1965, both to unite with his girl friend and to look for a job, but fails in both. In 1976, winds of fortune bring Askin Ozcan to Stockholm, again as a tourist, to visit some old friends. In the last hours of his stay, he lands on a job, which keeps him in Stockholm, for all his life. Ozcan's life in Stockholm is filled with contrasting experiences. Somethings he admires, somethings he despises, somethings he can never get used to. But, with time, many things change in Stockholm and so do his opinions and feelings also.

He tells of his travels, adventures in business, as he establishes a consultancy company, of the social life in Stockholm, of his favorite places in Stockholm, of his interesting experiences, of politics, of children and of his dreams in this City.

"Stockholm Stories" is a unique, personal collection of memoirs, the reader will appreciate.
