Long Beach Youth Lacrosse Announces Summer League and Partnership with Pacific Coast Lacrosse Officials Association

Long Beach, CA, July 07, 2016 --(PR.com)-- Long Beach Youth Lacrosse is proud to announce for its upcoming Beach Youth Lacrosse Summer League its partnership with the Pacific Coast Lacrosse Officials Association.

The Beach Youth Lacrosse League is launching this summer 2016 for beginner boys and girls ages 9-17. Games will be held Saturdays July 16-August 6 at Chittick Park in Long Beach, CA.

The PCLOA will be providing US Lacrosse trained officials for league games with the intent to properly and effectively educate new lacrosse players and parents fundamentals rules of the game.

The program is designed to develop players for youth club and high school competition, as lacrosse has recently been adopted by Long Beach Unified School District schools Long Beach Polytechnic High School and Wilson Classical High School.

“This is a great opportunity to begin developing the proper and safe expectations for players, parents, and coaches at the early stages,” says Mike Challgren, chairman of the PCLOA.

“Our goal is to share the sport to new and diverse communities. And, we want to develop the players the right way,” says LBYL Director Mike Song. “Working closely with the PCLOA allows us to do so, while hopefully guiding more youth towards higher education opportunities.”
