LlamaZOO Interactive Opens Revolutionary 3D Veterinary Anatomy Learning App for Pre-Orders
Victoria, Canada, July 07, 2016 --(PR.com)-- LlamaZOO Interactive Inc. has announced that EasyAnatomy, their 3D veterinary anatomy learning platform, is now available to pre-order. EasyAnatomy features a 100% medically accurate 3D canine model that can be manipulated and taken apart, layer by layer, organ by organ, on smartphones, tablets and desktop computers. This is combined with an adaptive quizzing system that helps students study smarter, not harder.
EasyAnatomy is backed by research that indicates using 3D to teach anatomy boosts students' confidence, understanding, and engagement. It acts as both a grounding in foundational studies, as well as an on-going tool which can be used during clinical studies. Its self-directed nature exposes students to more material and assessment without increasing their course load or stress level. When used to support a cadaver-based dissection course, EasyAnatomy becomes a tool for previewing and reviewing laboratory material, as well as quickly accessing visual aids during lab time.
While in development, the application has been in soft-launch at six leading veterinary universities across North America, Europe and Australia, ensuring both the usability and subject matter meet the quality and accuracy standards of university educators. EasyAnatomy has also been used and evaluated by thousands of students and individuals during the application’s open beta.
According to former president of the American Association of Veterinary Anatomists (AAVA) and professor at Oregon State University Dr. Terri Clark: ”Until EasyAnatomy, I've yet to see educational software designed for veterinary faculty and students that combines detailed 3D visualizations, trustworthy content and helpful study aids to solve the challenges of teaching and learning anatomy.”
“We’ve spent a lot of time carefully listening to students and professors, in order to understand their problems, and how we can help,” says Kevin Oke, co-founder and VP Sales of LlamaZOO. CEO and co-founder Charles Lavigne adds, “Our solution combines innovation in both 3D technology and educational methodologies, to make anatomy more relevant, and easier to understand. This enables tomorrow’s vets to improve and save the lives of more of our furry friends.”
Pre-orders of EasyAnatomy are being offered at a significant discount prior to release later this summer. Early purchasers are also granted the added bonus of continued access to the EasyAnatomy beta, which is scheduled to go private on July 15. More information can be found on the company’s website.
