The Garrett 50C expansion board is ideal for IoT applications, such as home automation control interfaces or handheld device development. Custom designed in the Geppetto™ Design-to-Order tool, the Garret 50C features a parallel RGB touch panel interface that connects to 5.0” NewHaven capacitive multi-touch screen. The prominent connectivity options on this board include a Raspberry Pi CSI2 camera connector, 10/100 Base-T Ethernet jack, stereo audio out, USB Host and USB On-The-Go (OTG).
The Garret 50C expansion board is a full-featured embedded LAN controller emphasizing performance, flexibility, ease of integration and system cost control.

The Garret 50C, designed online with the Geppetto Design-to-Order system and placed in the “Designed by Gumstix” Geppetto library, can be cloned and modified to meet custom design requirements. Exchange the 5.0” LCD connector for the 7.0”, add WiFi or LTE connectivity or strip it down to the bare essentials. Geppetto designs can be created online in a day and shipped production ready in 15 business days.
