Anti-Trump Super PAC Launched to Focus on Viral Media

Albuquerque, NM, July 12, 2016 --(PR.com)-- A New Mexico-based video producer has formed a Super PAC with the intent of creating and distributing anti-Donald J. Trump media. Sim Sadler, founder of “You’re Fired!”, an FEC-registered independent campaign committee (FEC Committee C00620310), plans to “undermine Trump’s toxic message with sharable videos, music, and memes” and to rally voters to reject the real estate mogul in November.

Sadler has a track record of producing satirical political videos, from 2004’s “Hard Working George” to 2008’s “30-Second Sarah,” each of which garnered hundreds of thousands of views online.

This year, he aims to “engage the talent of the nation’s creative community - filmmakers, artists, writers, musicians, and web ninjas” to collaborate. Sadler is crowdfunding the effort through Indiegogo (https://igg.me/at/TrumpUrFired) with mostly small donations, “though if billionaire George Soros shows interest, I’d probably take his call,” he jokes.

Sadler’s other production credits include films screened at the Cannes Film Festival and at the Museum of Modern Art in New York. He also recently produced the short documentary “Albuquerque Trump Protest” (https://vimeo.com/167989651).

The initial fundraising target is $30,000, which will allow production of the first dozen or so videos and associated media, according to Sadler.

“The goal is to raise enough money to pay people fairly for their contributions,” he said, and to “stop Trump now, before it’s too late.”
