PrintingForLess.com Helps Big Brothers Big Sisters Raise Over $33,000
America’s print shop matches up to $10K in new or increased donations.
Livingston, MT, January 17, 2008 --(PR.com)-- PrintingForLess.com (PFL), America’s Print Shop at www.printingforless.com, recently donated $10,000 to their local Big Brothers, Big Sisters (BBBS) organization, http://www.bbbsparkcounty.org/, a mentoring program dedicated to helping children reach their potential. Along with the check, PFL also presented BBBS with the hefty challenge of finding additional sponsors to match their donation, helping BBBS to raise an additional $33,000 by the end of December.
On November 13, 2007 at their ASK luncheon, BBBS Park County leaders announced that PFL had offered a challenge grant of $10,000. In response to the challenge, BBBS received $13,600 in new and increased donations that day and two $10,000 family foundation grants by the end of November.
“We accepted the challenge because we felt that PFL was a leader in supporting BBBS Park County and wanted to inspire others to donate to a cause that enriched the lives of children and strengthened our community,” says Charney Garnerman, BBBS of Park County Executive Director. “The money will be used to support the BBBS program in the Livingston community.”
BBBS is the oldest, largest and most effective youth mentoring organization in the United States. BBBS of Park County serves over 600 children through their community program, in-school programs and the after-school “America Reads” program in partnership with “Links for Learning.” BBBS has been the leader in one-to-one youth service for more than a century, developing positive relationships that have a direct and lasting impact on the lives of young people.
“The funds raised for BBBS will help children ages 6 through 18 reach their potential through professionally supported, one-to-one mentor relationships,” says Andrew Field, PrintingForLess.com Founder and CEO. “By supporting this fine organization, we hope to help build a positive future for children in our local community.”
“The challenge from PFL helped to significantly increase donations to BBBS,” says Charney. “We deeply appreciate the partnership of PFL with BBBS. PFL supports BBBS financially as well as through employee involvement in our programs. PFL is truly a community-spirited business.”
