Managing Principal Kirby Drake Elected to State Bar of Texas Officer Positions

The IP Section has nearly 2,500 members and focuses on providing numerous member benefits, including 3 CLE programs per year. In addition, Drake will be Program Director for the Advanced IP CLE course in Austin, TX to be held on February 22-24, 2017.

The section offers mentoring by women lawyers, for women lawyers, as well as monthly CLE teleconferences and a CLE during the State Bar’s Annual Meeting.
Drake is experienced in many areas of intellectual property law and focuses primarily on intellectual property litigation and patent prosecution, addressing a broad range of technologies. Drake earned a J.D. from Wake Forest University School of Law, and a Bachelor of Science degree cum laude in chemistry from Duke University.
