Though relatively unknown locally, Tom's Bronco Parts has been a major player in the early Bronco community for more than 30 years. TBP is widely regarded as the leader in 66-77 Ford Bronco Parts. Toms' Bronco Parts was incorporated in 1985, but the story begins several years before that. In 1976, Tom bought his first Ford Bronco, a 1969 model, and immediately took it out on the trails. As the Bronco took its beatings on the trails, Tom began collecting parts so he could repair it quickly and get back on the road. Tom's part collection began to build notoriety in the Bronco community and soon other Bronco owners started calling him to pick up parts needed to get their own rigs going again. For a while, Tom sold his parts out of his dad's shop. In 1985, he and his dad moved into the shop on Sage Rd where TBP continued to do business until last September when they moved into their new building located at 2661 S Pacific Hwy in Medford. Toms Bronco Parts currently employs 25 people in the Rogue Valley and ships its merchandise worldwide from its new 30,000 sq. ft. facility on S. Pacific Hwy.
The Ford Bronco has been a long time icon since first being relased in late 1965 to compete with Jeep and International Scout. From 1966 to 1977 Ford produced and sold a estimated total of 230,800 broncos during its first era of body design. In 1978 Ford made the Bronco full size and continued production until they decided to discontinue the Bronco on June 12, 1996. Tom's Bronco Parts specializes in the first generation (1966-1977) of the Ford Bronco.
