Scientology Information Center Leads to Operation Hope
When Ms. Esther Fife attended a monthly networking reception at the Scientology Information Center last week, she found something that she wasn’t expecting.
Clearwater, FL, July 23, 2016 --(PR.com)-- Being with the 25 like-minded businessmen and women from Clearwater, St. Pete and Tampa she found attendees from diverse backgrounds such as wealth management, alternative transportation, marketing, printing, human resources, and non-profit organizations.
The one thing many had in common? A need to learn better financial management skills and increase their financial literacy - something that is right up Ms. Fife’s alley.
Ms. Fife is the Financial Well-Being Coach for Operation Hope, a non-profit organization supported by SunTrust Bank that provides complimentary financial literacy education. Founded in 1992, Operation Hope is a national organization which has assisted more than 2 million businesses and families stay out of foreclosure.
Fourteen guests attended the seminar at the Information Center’s conference room and left with an increased understanding of financial planning. Take-aways from the seminar included a workbook to help people put together a budget, pay off debts and how to rebuild their credit score.
One seminar attendee stated, “This seminar was very helpful. I’m going to give this material to my daughter so she doesn’t have to stumble through life making unnecessary credit mistakes,” said Georgette Braadt, a long-term Clearwater resident.
Ms. Fife recommended that those who want to avail themselves of these tools to go to Operation Hope’s website at www.operationhope.org.
The Scientology Information offers its facilities for non-profit groups.
The next community event will be held on Sunday, July 24th from 6-8pm. The Clearwater Scientology Choir will be doing their first public performance for the community. The concert will also feature world-class performers from Moldova, Greece, Israel, and USA. All are welcome and audience participation is invited. Light refreshments will be served.
