Bruno Barreto's Romeo and Juliet Get Married to be Released on February 5th

New York, NY, January 18, 2008 --(PR.com)-- Life Size Entertainment announced the release of Brazilian director, Bruno Barreto's Romeo and Juliet Get Married on DVD. The film will be available online, in stores, and on Netflix February 5th, 2008.

Romeo and Juliet Get Married is a Brazilian comedy that gives Shakespeare’s classic love story a raucously fresh retelling by setting it in the crazed world of passionate soccer fans. Ophthalmologist Romeo is a passionately obsessed fan of the Corinthians football team. When Romeo falls for Juliet, the lovely daughter of the arch rival Palmeiras fan club president, he fakes a love for Palmeiras to impress his future father-in-law. The ruse comes to a head when Romeo’s true loyalties are revealed, triggering a series of frantic and hilarious twists that threaten the best laid wedding plans of the star crossed lovers.
