Moots Opens New Dealer: The Bikery in St. Petersburg, Florida
Grand Opening Weekend Features Food, Drink, Contests and a Chance to Win a Moots Vamoots CR
Steamboat Springs, CO, July 24, 2016 --(PR.com)-- Moots announced today its newest dealer partner, The Bikery, in St. Petersburg, FL, is now open. The Bikery exclusively features the Moots brand along with fitting services, craft coffee, tea, Italian sodas, and light fare.
“Moots continues to select only the best retail partners for our U.S. distribution and The Bikery is an excellent example of what the bike shop of the future will be,” said Corey Piscopo, Moots’ U.S. sales director. “Based in the hip St. Pete’s Grand Central District, they provide cyclists an amazing retail experience that incorporates boutique coffee, cutting edge fit services, and high quality repair service all in a fun social atmosphere. A recent customer review speaks to their approach, ‘We felt like we were invited into someone’s home, the staff was so friendly!’ We envision The Bikery becoming a destination Moots shop for cyclists throughout the Southeast.”
In addition to carrying a wide range of Moots road, mountain and cyclocross bikes on the floor, The Bikery has more than 20 vintage bikes, including team bikes from Bob Roll, Andy Bishop, and Sean Yates on display.
According to The BIkery’s manager, Taylor Norton, “We partnered specifically with Moots to present our customers the best handbuilt titanium bicycles available. We love bikes, and we especially love the idea of beautiful, high performance bicycles that can last forever. Considering our climate in Florida, titanium is the perfect material to deal with our humidity and rain. Moots perfectly complements our theme of handbuilt metal bikes, and also work perfectly as pieces of art in our coffee boutique."
The Bikery’s Grand Opening celebration, complete with the opportunity to win a Moots Vamoots CR road bike, is scheduled for July 23 and 24. Tickets are available for a suggested donation of $5 per ticket or $25 per 6 tickets. Raffle donations benefit the Friedreich’s Ataxia Research Alliance (FARA). Friedreich’s Ataxia (FA) is a debilitating, life-shortening, degenerative neuro-muscular disorder. Drawing will be held on Sunday, July 24 at 3 p.m (EST) by a volunteer on behalf of FARA. Winners need not be present to claim the prize. For a complete list of official rules for FARA Benefit Raffle at The Bikery click here.
