Girls shoe line 6th & Madison host Girl Power Gala & Awards at Sun Theater in St. Louis Aug. 6th

As part of its Pinky Promise Initiative, the event serves to honor young girls aged 7 -17 who are making a global impact through their local communities.
The event will take place at the Sun Theater, located at 3625 Grandel Square, with a media reception beginning at 5p.m. and the awards ceremony at 6p.m. Fox 2 News, Danielle Scruggs, will host the gala with guest speaker, Miss Black Missouri, Victoria Willingham and spoken word phenomenal, Kimora Williams. The event will honor and award 10 of Saint Louis’ most outstanding girls as well as 2 of the city’s influential women leaders, Cheryl Jones, CEO of Girls Inc. and Chantelle Nickson-Clarke, CEO of Pink Angels. The event will also feature entertainment from local children performers such as D.K. Dance Group.
