Women’s Couture Designer Prepares to Debut Spring/ Summer 2017 Collection in Dallas
Women’s couture clothing designer Lashan Goodwin is preparing to showcase her Spring/ Summer 2017 collection of evening gowns and swimwear from her Very Conceited line. Lashan created this collection specifically for the fashion-conscious woman who seeks both comfort, style and glamour.
Oakland, CA, July 31, 2016 --(PR.com)-- Women’s couture clothing designer Lashan Goodwin is preparing to showcase her Spring/ Summer 2017 collection of evening gowns and swimwear from her Very Conceited line. Lashan created this collection specifically for the fashion-conscious woman who seeks both comfort, style and glamour.
Lashan, a published designer who has been featured in various high fashion magazines such as Vogue and Instyle, will be debuting her collection during the US International Fashion Week 2016 which is scheduled to take place on September 3rd in Dallas, TX. The fashion show whose theme is ‘Bridge to Fashion’ will be hosted by the Dallas Chamber of Fashion Designers and the proceeds from the event will be donated to ‘Make a Wish Foundation.
“As an upcoming fashion designer, I believe that I personify the objective of this show, which is to reward the hard work, dedication and talent of the participants, as well as to inspire the youth by illustrating the accomplishments they can achieve if they stay focused on their dreams,” states Lashan Goodwin. “I am honored to take part in this exciting and noble endeavour. “As a designer, I feel challenged to design pieces worth creating”.

Born, raised and a local Northern Californian, Lashan Goodwin feels that she has been given the opportunity to be fashion-forward and diverse with her stylish ideas. While growing up, she styled her family and friends, and was known as the ‘go to person’ whenever a major event came around. After working in the retail industry for numerous designers and large retail companies, Lashan gained the motivation she needed to open her own boutique; soon after, in 2009, she began to design and started launched her signature line, ‘L by Lashan’.
Her new line Very Conceited is fresh, fun and flirty, with something for everyone. The collection includes must-have pieces for any occasion, ranging from active wear to the red carpet. Lashan has graced the runways of Fashion weeks in Los Angeles, Atlanta, Las Vegas and New York.
