Lehigh Valley Insurance Agency Expands to Luzerne Co.
In a recent merger, Lehigh Valley Insurance Agency expanded to Luzerne Co. Customers of Hazleton Insurance can expect to work with the same insurance team under the new name, John Yurconic Agency.
Allentown, PA, August 01, 2016 --(PR.com)-- John Yurconic Agency, Allentown has acquired the Hazleton Insurance Center, following the trend of other Lehigh Valley companies that have expanded their footprint into Luzerne County.
Hazleton Insurance and John Yurconic Agency are Keystone Insurers Group partner agencies. Donald Laputka of Hazleton Insurance and John T. Yurconic have had a business relationship since the early 1990s. According to Mr. Laputka, it was a natural fit. After announcing the acquisition, Mr. Yurconic stated, "Donald Laputka and his team have provided exceptional service to their clients in a manner consistent with our Core Values. We intend to keep the Hazleton Insurance Center open and maintain a presence in the community.”
Customers of Hazleton Insurance can expect to work with the same insurance team composed of Joanne Laputka, Tom Keerans and Sandy DeAndrea. The name will change to John Yurconic Agency, with new systems being installed to enhance the quoting and underwriting process. Existing customers and new customers will save both time and money in a highly automated, service-oriented environment.
Hazleton Insurance Center was formed in 1971 by the merger of two of Hazleton’s oldest insurance agencies, M.J. Laputka & Sons and Benjamin & Markman. During Mr. Laputka’s career, many well-known insurance agencies were merged into his company, such as Al Martini Agency, Leo Dagostin Agency and Joseph Baranko Agency.
In 1999, Hazleton Insurance joined Keystone Insurers Group, and John Yurconic Agency joined a year later.
