Long-Term Care Insurance Director To Train Agents Interested In Selling Short-Term Care Solutions
AALTCI's Jesse Slome will conduct a national educational webinar for insurance agents who sell long-term care insurance solutions and want to learn about short term care insurance options.
Los Angeles, CA, August 18, 2016 --(PR.com)-- Insurance agents interested in learning ways to market and sell short-term care insurance solutions to their senior clients are invited to request access to a special online training program being led by the director of the American Association for Long-Term Care Insurance.
"There are millions of consumers interested in undertaking some long-term care planning but their age, their health or the cost for traditional LTC insurance is an issue," explains Jesse Slome, executive director of the national long-term care insurance organization. "Short-term care insurance is a viable and affordable alternative they should consider."
Slome acknowledged that too few agents are familiar with short-term care insurance products. The national expert plans to conduct a webinar for insurance agents on September 8, 2017. The one-hour program will specifically focus on the Kemper Home Health Care product.
"The Kemper product is an ideal option for seniors," Slome notes. "It has some limited home health care benefits along with some excellent prescription drug benefits that make this a very affordable option. Plus, they accept applicants up to age 85."
The one-hour webinar is being hosted for agents affiliated with the National Advisory Center for Short-Term Care Information. To learn more about short-term care insurance, visit the Center's website at www.shorttermcareinsurance.org. Insurance agents interested in being part of the training webinar should call the organization's agent help line at 818-597-3205.
