Annual List Names Australia’s Insurance Industry Rising Stars
Fifty young insurance professionals have been recognized in a list of the industry’s most promising.
St Leonards, Australia, August 19, 2016 --(PR.com)-- Insurance Business magazine has released its 2016 Young Guns list which recognizes 50 young professionals, aged 35 and under, who are making an impact in the insurance channel.
Insurance Business once again asked their readers to nominate rising stars in their brokerages, underwriting agencies, insurance companies and legal practices for inclusion in this year’s feature. The turn-out was outstanding with a record number of entries from around the country.
The annual Young Guns list seeks to recognise some of the most promising young talent in insurance. With the volume and diversity of high-quality nominations submitted, it clearly shows the depth of talent in the industry.
“It goes without saying that the Australian general insurance industry has its fair share of impressive leaders. Of course, as the industry’s most knowledgeable heads retire, it becomes necessary for a new generation of leaders to ensure that insurance continues to play the role it has fulfilled for centuries in helping to protect and build communities,” said Tim Garratt, editor of Insurance Business.
“Given this report features only a snapshot of the promising local talent, there’s certainly reason to be confident the industry in Australia will remain in capable hands for some time to come.”
