Notemine Announces Kick-off Party at Isotope Comics
Partygoers get hands-on with Notemine, meet the team and schmooze with comic book and animation celebrities in San Francisco
San Francisco, CA, January 19, 2008 --(PR.com)-- Notemine, the world-changing form of communication, expression and art, announced today that it will have a kick-off party on February 15, 2008 in honor of its formal launch as the first true “emotional networking” community.
“We are excited to have the launch party for Notemine, which we feel is a revolutionary site, at Isotope Comics, a truly revolutionary comic shop,” said Theo Chakkapark, founder and partner at Notemine.
Notemine works by allowing users to create thought boxes with custom colors, formatting and emotion “tags.” Through both friends lists and these tags, custom “streams” of thought can be created and viewed. The “thoughtstream,” or master feed of all thoughts, can be found on the front page and continuously updates with new thoughts.
At the party, people will get to try out Notemine, sign-up and meet the team behind the site.
The party also coincides with the start of sixth annual AOD [animation on display], and attendees will be able to meet guests of honor from the convention, including Ken Pontac (Happy Tree Friends, Bump in the Night), Marv Wolfman (Teen Titans, Blade) and Tommy Yune (Robotech).
“It is only fitting that the home of the thoughtstream, which in itself is a new kind of digital art, is paired with these fine gentlemen who are amazing creative people,” said Rob Pereyda, managing partner at Notemine.
Disclaimer: Guest appearances at the Notemine Kick-off Party at Isotope Comics are subject to professional commitments and availability and may change at any time. Notemine is not affiliated with AOD [animation on display].
