Introducing the Chrysalis Collection by Cocoon-Homespun Soft Goods
Cocoon Homespun Soft Goods "Chrysalis Collection"
Batavia, OH, August 22, 2016 --(PR.com)-- Designer and owner Heidi Stone Black started crocheting years ago, just for meditative purposes. That meditation has grown into a love for beautiful and cozy things. She has since started a small online business, making those cozy pieces available to women everywhere. Winter hats to keep you warm through those cold months ahead. ..."crafted with Comfort, Style, and Quality." is just part of her business motto.
"I absolutely love soft and cozy things. From the search for the perfect yarns, to the design aspect. Then finally the creation. I think my hats are pretty amazing. I've always had a hard time finding hats that fit my head just right, and so has my sister. So I designed mine in two women's sizes. Small for me, and medium for her. In previous years my hats have sold extremely well, so I'm expecting them to sell out pretty fast. I'm only releasing a limited quantity of each style. The Gossamer is my simple flat stitch hat, that will fit in your purse or your pocket. The Swallowtail is a cabled hat with a pom pom on top. Bringing back some vintage style. All of my hats are made with 100% merino wool," said Heidi.
Heidi was raised in California, but now resides in Ohio with her husband. She has always been a creative person. When she was 8 years old, her mom brought home a sewing machine and some fabric. "By the end of the day I had made about 5 purses. Hahaha,"Heidi said.
Cocoon-Homespun Soft Goods is Heidi's new business name. She has recently re-branded and streamlined her business. "I'm so excited to share my Chrysalis Collection with everyone. I just know they're going to love these hats," added Heidi. Although she has only included women's hats in this collection, she has plans in motion for her men's line debuting in the near future.
