About 8 years ago, B&B Preferred was sold to a group of investors in California who ran the business for approximately 3 years. But B&B was dissolved when the market broke, back in 2010. A little after that, Buddy Morton took over the distribution of the product line being built by X-Tra Reinforced Plastics and named his distribution company K-1 Products. So, since the inception of B&B Preferred, there has actually been three distribution groups that sold product and that could be the reason there is some confusion in the marketplace at times.
