Absolute Tabletop Gives Free Tabletop RPG Supplements to Anyone Who Shows Creativity
Independent roleplaying game publisher Absolute Tabletop offers free digital roleplaying books for 200-plus word submissions.
Moriarty, NM, August 28, 2016 --(PR.com)-- Independent RPG publisher Absolute Tabletop announced today their Absolute Creativity project, an initiative that offers anyone who writes 200 or more words a free digital supplement of their choice. Founded in September 2015, Absolute Tabletop is known for their self-published RPG material, including a worldbuilding sourcebook, Be A Better Campaign Master, and supplemental rulesets like The Convocation and The Copper Jackals.
With this project – dreamed up by founders Michael Barker, Matt Click, Tim Kearney, and James Kearney – the publisher hopes to inspire creativity in people, and aims to incentivize them to do so. There are no strings attached – any participants who fill out a brief Google Form (which includes a map for inspiration) with 200 or more original words, gets to choose any one of the company's digital offerings absolutely free. A free account on their site is required to gain access to the digital PDF download. The deadline to participate in the Absolute Creativity project is midnight PDT, September 30, 2016.
“Too often, we sit down in front of blank sheets of paper and write nothing,” said co-founder Michael Barker. “Because, at the end of the day, every creative idea you don’t write down dies inside of your mind, without ever being shared with another human being, and that’s just wrong. We want to encourage creativity through gaming in any way that we can, and we’ve chosen to do it by giving away free stuff!”
