Los Angeles, CA, August 29, 2016 --(PR.com)-- Acclaimed boutique production company, U.S. Veg Corp, will be launching the first annual California Vegetarian Food Festival in Los Angeles on November 13, 2016 at the illustrious Raleigh Studios Hollywood. U.S. Veg Corp is the production company behind the consistently popular NYC Vegetarian Food Festival and the Arizona Vegetarian Food Festival.
The decision to branch out to the California market was a natural one, according to U.S. Veg Corp co-founder Sarah Gross. “SoCal has always been a bubbling cauldron of amazing food creation,” she said. “We wanted to jump into that scene and put the focus on plant-based innovations.”
Mirroring the model of U.S. Veg Corp’s other vegetarian food festivals, the CA festival will feature vendors and food trucks sampling and selling all things vegan, from tacos and burgers to ice cream and chocolate. A plethora of authors, medical experts, sports celebrities, chefs, and animal rights advocates will also be in the mix.
Taco impresario Chef Jason Wyrick, Z Living Network personality Julieanna Hever, and Superfoods expert/chef Julie Morris are among those already scheduled to headline the Main and Cooking Demonstration Stages.
As a centerpiece, the festival will introduce attendees to the Innovation Pavilion, where they will find samples and information on cutting-edge, technology-driven brands of cruelty-free meats, dairy products, eggs, fashions, and more.
Rounding out the day’s activities will be musical entertainment, fitness classes, a children’s arts area, and a raffle benefiting Mercy for Animals.
But is the festival only for vegans? U.S. Veg Corp co-founder Nira Paliwoda said the opposite is true. “Although our events are plant-based, they are created for foodies, health-enthusiasts and environmentalists of all kinds in mind.” said Nira. "We provide a unique, fun experience where everyone, no matter what culinary background, can be exposed to lifestyle products and techniques that are currently available as well as new initiatives.”
The festival will run from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., and will take place rain or shine.
Information on how to become an exhibitor, sponsor or speaker can be found at www.cavegfoodfest.com.
