Life365 Takes to the Road in Preparation for Fall 2016 Product Launch
Life365 to present their new wearable, patient engagement, and care coordination tools for connected health solutions at Parks Associates’ Connected Health Summit, CTIA StartUp Lab at Super Mobility, White Hat 2016 and AdvaMed MedTech Conference
Phoenix, AZ, September 01, 2016 --(PR.com)-- Life365 announced today that Kent Dicks, Founder & CEO of Life365, will speak at four upcoming conferences in anticipation of the companies’ wearable and health management platform release this fall.
Life365's RAIN Platform uses "lite" technology and "lite" touch engagement to acquire the largest amount of actionable health data from the greatest patient population at the lowest cost possible - in order to enable services, increase adherence, reduce hospitalization, and improve health outcomes.
The RAIN platform integrates health data collected by Wearable Sensors and "Hubs" to Electronic Medical Records and analytics systems. The scalable platform is made up of Hardware (connected wearable sensors & health monitoring devices) Software (data integration, device configuration and analytics), and Services (care management, user engagement & incentives).
Dicks will speak at the third-annual Connected Health Summit: Engaging Consumers, held August 30 – September 1, 2016 at the Omni Hotel in San Diego, CA. Dicks will participate in the session Everything Disruptive: What Consumers Can Expect from Care Innovators on September, 1 at 2:30pm.
The interactive panel session, moderated by Harry Wang, Senior Director of Research, Parks Associates examines the connected health market and its flood of new ideas, innovations, and entrants. According to Parks Associates research, chronic disease accounts for more than 70% of total healthcare costs. The panel includes health‐based startups, hoping to shake up healthcare with their disruptive solutions.
“The continued innovations in devices, apps, and services as well as the emergence of successful strategies to increase consumer satisfaction, enhance care quality, and reduce costs are leading to strong forecasted growth for the industry,” said Harry Wang, Senior Director of Research, Parks Associates. “We welcome Life365 to provide their perspective on ways to engage consumers in new connected health solutions.”
Life365 was selected to participate in CTIA’s StartUp Lab at CTIA Super Mobility on September 7 and 8 in Las Vegas. 29 companies from 14 states and 4 countries were chosen by a group of accelerator programs and CTIA member companies. Winners will be announced Thursday, September 8. Dicks’ previous company, MedApps, won the “Enterprise & Vertical Market Solution – Healthcare” category at CTIA in 2010. Dicks will be presenting during Internet of Things at the StartUp Lab Pitch Fest on Wednesday, September 7 at 4:15pm.
Life365 was chosen by a panel of life science investors to present at White Hat 2016 on Thursday, September 22 at 9:30am. The White Hat Life Science Investor Conference (White Hat 2016) provides Angel Investors, Family Offices, Venture Capitalists, and Social Impact Investors the opportunity to see a cross section of exciting early-stage companies and the opportunity to hear from industry veterans. Companies Presenting at White Hat 2016 were selected from applications submitted from across the Rocky Mountain Southwest region and reviewed and ranked by a panel of life science investors.
White Hat Investors 2016, the biotech and healthcare investor conference that showcases the best of the Rocky Mountain & Southwest Region will be held at the Phoenix Convention Center on September 21 and 22, 2016.
Life365 was selected by AZBio to represent Arizona at the AdvaMed 2016 MedTech Conference as an Innovation Showcase Company. The decision criteria for Life365’s selection was the score the company’s application received from an independent panel of reviewers. The Innovation Showcase at AdvaMed 2016 presents a select group of 48 early-stage medical device, diagnostic and digital health companies in 12 showcase sessions on a special stage in the Exhibit Hall on Tuesday, October 18 and Wednesday, October 19. Dicks will be participating on a 35-minute moderated panel with three other companies.
“It would be nice if being a cool company with a great idea was all that it takes to succeed. In the real world, that is not the case,” shared Joan Koerber-Walker, president & CEO of the Arizona Bioindustry Association (AZBio). “Success requires both a great idea and a team that has the experience and the skill to both develop a solid plan and deliver on the company’s promise. In building Life365, Kent Dicks has brought together a winning combination.”
