New IP65/IP67 Compression Latch from FDB, with Protective Cover Flap

Isleworth, United Kingdom, September 02, 2016 --(PR.com)-- The new DIRAK 1-075 compression latch from FDB Panel Fittings offers IP65/67 protection and status visibility by virtue of its zinc die cover flap which only closes when the latch is fully compressed.

The flap also provides additional protection from ingress of water and dirt projected at high speeds so is highly suited to outdoor and vehicle applications where the flap prevents build-up of material around the lock insert. This ensures easy operation at any time, even after long exposure to road grime or mud.

Visual indication may be enhanced by use of a self-adhesive reflective marker on the inside of the flap – which when exposed signifies that the latch is in “open” condition.
