Satsang with Self-Realized Master, Sri Ramakant Maharaj Will be Held at the "OneCircle" Center, Silver Spring, Maryland, on 16-18 September
Shri Ramakant Maharaj, 75, direct disciple of Shri Nisargadatta, since 1962, will be offering Satsang for free during his visit to the States.
Washington, MD, September 04, 2016 --(PR.com)-- Short Satsangs with Sri Ramakant Maharaj will take place over the weekend of September 16, Friday evening, 7.30-9.00 pm. Saturday, 5pm to 7pm, and Sunday from 11 am to 1pm. Times stated are inclusive of tea breaks. All Satsangs are offered free of charge.
In readiness for these meetings, Maharaj has asked visitors to read the book,“Selfless Self: Talks with Shri Ramakant Maharaj,” to acquaint themselves with his use of language, expression and terms; watch videos of Shri Ramakant teaching, and study the website, www.ramakantmaharaj.net. This preparatory work will help speed up visitors' understanding of the teachings, and what's more, conserve the Master's energy.
“Sri Ramakant's teachings in 'Selfless Self' contain such clarity and force, that it has brought the search to an end for many,” said Ann Shaw, editor, and admin member for Sri Ramakant. “This is no ordinary teacher sharing intellectual, spiritual knowledge. No! Sri Ramakant is one of those rare Masters who takes seekers beyond knowledge, so that, at last, they can find their way Home. Christopher Quilkey, editor of Ramanasramam's 'Mountain Path,' who reviewed the book last month, offers a beautifully succinct summary of 'Selfless Self,' when he says: 'One has to breathe this book not think it.' I think these words capture the book perfectly," concluded Ann.
"The book is not so much a presentation of concepts, as a manual addressed to, [what Maharaj calls], the 'Invisible Listener' in us. There is more happening in the dialogues than words can say. After reading through this book I have come to the conclusion that to be in the presence of Ramakant Maharaj is to enter another dimension of understanding,” concluded Christopher Quilkey.
“The news of Maharaj visiting the States has created a real buzz,” says the admin team, who have received many enquiries from eager seekers wishing to receive the “Naam Mantra” from Maharaj. The Naam Mantra is the same Mantra that has been empowered by, and passed down through the lineage, for over 1,000 years, by the great Masters, such as Sri Bhausaheb, Sri Siddharameshwar, Sri Ranjit and Sri Nisargadatta, to name but a few.
September cannot come soon enough for serious seekers in the U.S.A. For many of them, meeting a rare Jnani - one who spent nearly twenty years with Nisargadatta Maharaj - represents the culmination of a lifetime's longing, and an event that, not so long ago, lay beyond their wildest imaginings.
