Direct Tool Company completes priority project for leading high-end large commercial vehicle maintenance centre.
Southampton, United Kingdom, September 04, 2016 --(PR.com)-- Direct Tool Company procure and install a large drive-through 13 ton commercial vehicle scissor lift complete with two sets of 2.5m approach ramps for up and rising commercial truck maintenance facility.
Having served the prestigious workshop with tools, consumables and coatings for the past 5 years, Direct Tool Company (better known as DTC) were chosen as the sole consulting firm to carry out the bespoke fit-out project.
DTC obtained and installed the heavy duty scissor lift designed to withstand trucks weighing up to 13 tons. The modern lift is well equipped with a power unit complete with electro-mechanic card and 24V low voltage control system. Key safety features include: manual descent pump in case of power failures, mechanical safety ratchet, safety valve in case of hydraulic failure and an alarm on last portion of descent.
“This installation job required immediate action and I am thrilled to say we successfully completed the project ahead of schedule which was a huge relief to our valued client.
