Toni DasGupta, CEO Veda Financial, Joins Advisory Board of Kiwanis La Canada AM Charitable Endowment

Los Angeles, CA, February 03, 2017 --(PR.com)-- Toni DasGupta, CEO of Veda Financial joined the Advisory board of the Kiwanis La Canada AM Endowment Fund. Kiwanis International is a global charitable organization with branches in 80 different countries that work in their local communities. The organization annually raises more than $100 million and dedicates more than 18 million volunteer hours.

The Kiwanis La Canada AM club has been providing services to the community since 1993. Some of the key initiatives are:

1. Kiwanis International Program - Eliminate to eradicate maternal and neo natal tetanus, worldwide.
2. District Project Pediatric Trauma Prevention in cooperation with local schools, pediatricians, and fire and police personnel.
3. Builders Club for adolescents provides students with opportunities to develop leadership, improve self-esteem, increase civic engagement and learn life skills through service.
4. Key Club, the oldest and largest service organization for teens, teaches leadership through service to others.

Also on the board of the Kiwanis La Canada AM are Dave Hemstreet, Tom Petersmeyer and Donn Sarbaum.

Toni DasGupta, Ph.D., MBA, is CEO of Veda Financial, an investment advisory company that manages assets for high net worth individuals, companies, trusts, endowments and charitable organizations. Ms. DasGupta volunteers with several professional and charitable organizations. She was President of TiE, the Indus Entrepreneurs in Southern California. She is a founding member of WIN, a network of professional women supporting one another.
