Eventing Clinic with Andreas Dibowski
For only the second time, 4-time Olympic German Eventer Andreas Dibowski will hold a clinic in North America.
Heath, OH, September 07, 2016 --(PR.com)-- The American Trakehner Association has announced four-time German Olympic Eventing team member Andreas Dibowski will conduct two clinics for riders at Tryon International Equestrian Center in Mill Spring, NC this fall. This will be only the second time he has conducted a clinic in North America, and the first for the East Coast.
Dibowski, known as "Dibo," is an Olympic gold medalist who just this June won--for the second time--the penultimate leg of the FEI Classics at the famous Luhmuehlen CCI 4-star event. He has been on Germany's international Eventing teams since 1997, competing at the Sydney Olympics in 2000, the Athens Olympics in 2004 and the 2008 Beijing Olympics, where he was part of the team that won the gold medal. He has twice been a member of the gold medal-winning team at the FEI European Championships.
Riders need not be a member of the ATA to ride in the clinic. Clinics run Oct 31-Nov 2. Each clinic will last a day and a half, focusing on cross-country and stadium jumping. The classes are deliberately small and grouped appropriate for rider and horse skill level, so as to provide individualized instruction. In addition, a private dinner and seminar discussion with Dibo will be offered to clinic riders at no cost.
Auditors are welcome to attend either clinic for $45 or ATA members with full convention registration audit for free. Interested participants can get more information by calling 850-814-0027 or at http://americantrakehner.com/Forms/Form_ConventionClinic.htm.
