Penklor & DMG Unveil Fully Renovated Stone Creek Apartment Complex in Union Township with Grand Opening & Ribbon Cutting Ceremony

Highly anticipated by the local community, the previously troubled property has undergone a dramatic transformation and will hold their public grand opening on September 9th.

Cincinnati, OH, September 08, 2016 --(PR.com)-- Penklor and DMG purchased the property formerly known as Piccadilly Apartments in early 2016 for more than $6.1 million.

Located in a desirable spot just off Beechmont Avenue in Union Township, Penklor and DMG saw the potential of the run-down collection of buildings and, after completing intense negotiations for the purchase, immediately began a full renovation.

Construction is complete and the complex, now named Stone Creek Apartments, is holding a community grand opening and ribbon cutting ceremony on Friday, September 9th. Community members, local businesses, Union Township officials, and future residents have been invited to attend. Starting at 1pm, festivities will include tours of the property, a community meet and greet, leasing specials, and light refreshments. The ribbon cutting ceremony will take place at 2pm at the community clubhouse.

“We’re excited to welcome the community into Stone Creek to see the fruits of a year’s worth of labor,” says Penklor President Scott Davis. “It’s a great place for our new residents to call home and it’s the beginning of a bright new day for the area. Our leasing office has been open for the past week, and we’re excited about the interest it’s already drawing.”

“This total transformation of the Piccadilly complex is unique and Union Township welcomes the investment into our community,” commented Union Township Board of Trustees Chairman John McGraw back in March. “For many years Piccadilly Apartments have been crime-ridden and poorly run.” Originally built in the late 1970’s, Piccadilly Circle had experienced a steep decline in recent years and had earned a troubled reputation with both local residents and law enforcement, including a large drug round-up by the Clermont County Sheriff’s office in early 2008.

Penklor and DMG have invested more than $5 million into the renovation of Stone Creek. All buildings were gutted and refitting with new amenities, the grounds were re-landscaped, and a community clubhouse with a swimming pool, fitness center, and outdoor kitchen was constructed. For each of the 186 2-bedroom units this included brand new appliances, carpeting, paint, and other upgrades. Each home is 940 square feet and rental prices start at $750/per month.
