Record Setting Country Gospel Group, Waymasters, to Headline Saturday Night’s North Carolina Mountain State Fair

Nashville, TN, September 08, 2016 --(PR.com)-- Christian Country Gospel’s No. 1 group, Waymasters, will headline the Carolina Farm Credit Mountain Music Festival located at the Heritage Stage this Saturday, September 10 at the North Carolina Mountain State Fair. The Fair takes place at the WNC Agricultural Center in Fletcher, N. C. and runs from September 9th through the 18th. The Waymasters have been part of the entertainment lineup for the Fair for over ten years.

Long known for their unmistakable harmony vocals and mountain flare approach to southern and country gospel, the Waymasters have become one of the biggest names in the increasingly popular Christian Country Gospel format. Earlier this year the Asheville natives made history with their album, “Smoky Mountain Gospel Vol. 2” when they became the first Christian band and only the fifth recording artist ever to record an album to spawn five No. 1 singles. Previously only Michael Jackson, Rodney Crowell, Brad Paisley, and Katy Perry had achieved this milestone. This achievement ranks the Waymasters’ recording as the most successful charting gospel album of all time.
