Business North Carolina Magazine Names Jose Cortina of Daniels Daniels & Verdonik, P.A. to Legal Elite

Jose Cortina focuses his practice on the intellectual property needs of small to large technology and service companies. Over his 25+ year career he has prepared and prosecuted domestic and international patent applications in a broad range of technologies, including: electronics, communications, computer hardware and software, solid state devices, biomedical applications, MEMS and nanotechnologies, automotive, general mechanical technologies and selected chemical and chemical engineering technologies. Cortina has drafted and negotiated complex license, joint development/teaming, technical assistance and other related agreements in a variety of industries. Cortina attended The American University where he completed the B.S. requirements for both Physics and Distributed Sciences. He received his law degree from The American University Washington College of Law and served as Co-Chairman of the Moot Court Board and on the Student Bar Association. Cortina is admitted to practice in North Carolina, Virginia, Florida, the District of Columbia and the Federal Circuit.
