"CHI's primary objective is to build a world-class program for large and small biopharma companies, CROs, tech vendors, sites, and academia so they can overcome clinical operations challenges, get new therapies to patients faster, and meet new partners."
Day One officially starts at 8:20 am on January 24, 2017, with a co-presentation by Katherine Vandebelt, Senior Director of Clinical Innovation; and Janelle Sabo, Senior Group Director of Product Delivery at Eli Lilly and Company. They will present "Bringing Design Thinking into Clinical Trials," which considers how we can re-evaluate our current approach to the planning and management of our studies. The presentation will be followed by an executive panel led by Craig Lipset, Head of Clinical Innovation at Pfizer Inc. The panel will feature thought-leaders from Biogen, Genentech, GSK and Eli Lilly.
Day Two's plenary keynote session starts with our annual Clinical Informatics News' "Best Practices Awards" and then a keynote by Jeremy Sohn, a VP and the Head of Digital Business Development & Licensing at Novartis. Jeremy will present on clinical innovations underway today that seem to be the most successful to date and how we can, as an industry, accelerate meaningful change in the ways we run our trials. The panel following will then focus on how to "Move Digital Health Innovation from PowerPoint to Action."
