Rapid Sheet Metal celebrates 15 years in business.
Nashua, NH, September 10, 2016 --(PR.com)-- Rapid Sheet Metal, the world’s largest prototype sheet metal manufacturer, is celebrating 15 years in business. The company manufactures sheet metal prototype parts for innovative companies nationwide, and has both seen and implemented industry wide advancements during its 15 year history.
Rapid Sheet Metal was founded on September 14, 2001 by James Jacobs. Jacobs opened the doors and focused on the mission “Quotes in hours. Parts in Days.” This mantra is still a core belief of RAPID but the manufacturing is on a much larger scale and quotes are now provided in seconds.
David Puleo, Operations Manager, states, “I am honored to be part of the 15 years of success. The team at Rapid Sheet Metal is the backbone to RAPID and I love working with the entire team. Rapid Sheet Metal currently occupies 25,000 square feet of space on Perimeter Road in Nashua with a focus on prototype sheet metal parts and opened a second, 44,000 square foot facility on Charron Ave in 2014. The Charron Ave location focuses on low volume sheet metal production.

Starting with four employees in 2001, we have grown to a team of over 150 and changed the landscape on how prototype sheet metal parts are delivered. Thank you to everyone past and present who has helped us on our journey.”
Rapid Sheet Metal is now one of three RAPID divisions. Rapid Machining manufactures CNC machine prototypes and Rapid Wire Cable manufactures wire harnesses, cables assemblies and box builds. Overall RAPID is comprised of over 350 employees in over 140,000 square feet of manufacturing space.
