Rafael Reveals the Benefits of Integrated Air and Missile Defence Systems in Prague This October
SMi reports (13.09.2016, London, UK): Israel defense systems manufacturer Rafael are the latest to join the speaker panel for Air Missile Defence Technology 2016.
London, United Kingdom, September 16, 2016 --(PR.com)-- Rafael Advanced Defence Systems are the latest sponsor speakers for Air Missile Defence Technology 2016, which takes place on the 24th and 25th of October 2016 in Prague, Czech Republic.
Business Development & Marketing Manager, Colonel (Retd) Gil Shalev, will be speaking on “Network-Centric Air Defence” on Day 1 of the conference. His presentation will explore topics such as MANPADS Vs. Standalone Air Defense; Integrated Air Defense System; Components; Advantages over MANPADS; and Integration with Customer-Furnished Assets.
Col. Shalev commented, “I will be speaking about the importance of network centricity in Air Defense. Modern systems can no longer be "everything in one box." Systems have to be able to consider pre-existing user infrastructure and we do this by building modular, network-centric systems. We believe this is a message that will resonate in the Czech Republic, a country that has already invested heavily in Air Defense and wishes to leverage her investments as part of a continued movement toward further modernization.”
Col. Shalev will be joining other technological experts from some of the biggest industry vendors in the market including Thales Nederlands, Lockheed Martin, and Northrop Grumman as they present their latest and most innovative technology.
The conference will also feature expert briefings from high-level keynote speakers from military forces at the forefront of air missile defence capability including the Czech Republic, Hungary, Germany, Slovakia, Netherlands and more.
A detailed list of speakers and their topics, as well as registration details, can be viewed on www.airmissiledefence.com/prcom.
