Helping Israel Fund - Golish Financial Group Annual Charity Golf and Tennis Tournament Benefits Soldiers of Israel Defense Forces
Boca Raton, FL, September 17, 2016 --(PR.com)-- A great day of golfing fun for a great cause. That’s what’s planned for the Annual Helping Israel Fund charity golf tournament on Monday, Nov. 14th, 2016 when golfers tee off at the Boca Rio Golf Club in Boca Raton, Florida.
The tournament is dedicated in loving memory of Avraham Albert Attia and Shimon Attia, the father and brother of Gil Attia, owner of Elie’s Fine Jewelry in Boca Raton. Both men proudly served in the Israel Defense Forces.
Golfers will enjoy BBQ lunch, a cocktail reception and an awards dinner which will include a special presentation by a soldier of the IDF. For guests who prefer to play tennis we are pleased to have Jessica Yanoff, real estate agent with Keller Williams, sponsor an afternoon competitive tennis tournament.
“I’m honored to be hosting this premier event. My business associates, colleagues and friends are proud to support Helping Israel Fund to benefit the soldiers serving in the IDF and enjoy the day golfing,” says Glen Golish, President, Golish Financial Group and Chairman, of the golf tournament.
Golish indicated that the charity golf event proceeds will directly benefit the soldiers serving in Israel's military. "The IDF is the front line of defense for the state of Israel. Israel provides the equipment and other basics that make the IDF the premiere fighting force it is, yet there are many essentials for which it does not budget because the vast amount of funds, by necessity, are allocated for armaments and defensive needs. The Golish Financial Group Charity Golf Tournament works in conjunction with their 501c (3) public charity, Helping Israel Fund, for the sole purpose of raising money to supply vital non-military items to the soldiers serving to defend Israel. The proceeds from the event are directed to multiple worthy organizations and are designated for projects without any or minimal administrative fees associated with them.”
Golish concluded, "Supporting the Charity Golf and Tennis Tournament is a significant way to help the soldiers who protect Israel. It is important for them to know that we don’t want them to walk alone and that we are ready to step up and help to meet their immediate needs."
