Global Wizard Product Enhancements

Easton, CT, January 23, 2008 --(PR.com)-- In preparing for an expected customer boom in 2008, Exits, Inc. has enhanced Global Wizard by adding capabilities to its core software package. These changes should aid users with their day-to-day tasks within the export documentation and compliance software as well as offer customers a broader strategic view of their export business.

With the recent 2008 changes to the Schedule B/HTS system maintained by US Census (http://www.census.gov), Global Wizard has been equipped to handle mass data updates to replace one Schedule B code with another across a customer’s current product information. This should drastically reduce customer maintenance time for this year’s update and those mandated by the government in the future. As always, Global Wizard can transmit shipments to the government via AES, the Automated Export System.

Global Wizard has incorporated a Digital Signature module which allows each user to store his or her signature in an image file. This signature will print on appropriate documents the user generates. Also regarding documents, Global Wizard has added documentation to comply with the Central American Free Trade Agreement.

Data auditing also received an upgrade. Global Wizard tracks who changes each shipment, when and how, and it also displays this information to the logged-in user. The software can also warn another user if the information has been changed recently, avoiding possible data collisions. Global Wizard’s Denied Persons screening can also accept multiple names and e-mail screening results for all names submitted to parties designated by the user.

Also included as part of the Global Wizard core offering are an expanded search algorithm especially helpful with long names and boycott/embargo warnings.

Global Wizard is web-based export document generation and compliance software. Otherwise known as GWIZ, it enables customers to increase efficiency, accuracy and effectiveness by organizing information about global shipments and providing quick documentation. Data integration with customers’ back-end systems is available, easy and encouraged.
