"Tackling the Trend – Living Large in Tiny Homes & Micro Apartments"; WNWN, Thursday, September 22nd from 2-9pm; NYDC - 200 Lexington Ave. Suite 708 New York, NY
New York, NY, September 18, 2016 --(PR.com)-- Join transFORM and their Media Sponsor Aspire Metro Magazine, at the New York Design Center’s highly anticipated event, What’s New, What’s Next on Thursday, September 22nd from 2pm-9pm. transFORM will be displaying their new multifunctional Men's Apartment, which includes a horizontal wall bed, custom wardrobe & dual-purpose desk.
8th Annual What’s New, What’s Next Event
transFORM, 200 Lexington Ave. Suite 708
Thursday, September 22nd from 2-9pm
Chocolate, Coffee & Art from 3-4pm
Smart Design Solutions Presentation 7:45pm
Featured in Desert Oak and Dusk Frake from Shinnoki and finished with Red Port High Gloss and Black Leather accents, transFORM’s newest installation features an array of custom cabinetry for added storage. transFORM’s horizontal wall bed provides comfort, convenience and charm without sacrificing valuable square footage. The convertible design makes it simple to fold out the bed and tuck it back away when not in use. A wall bed is a perfect addition to any spot that doubles as a guest room or has a limited amount of floor space.
Also on display is a custom built-in wardrobe system, which was designed to accommodate the homeowner’s clothes, style and space. Hanging sections allow enough elevation to conveniently organize items based on size while shelving and drawers provide access and organization for items you would like to have seen, and those you would like to have stowed away.
Finally, transFORM’s dual purpose desk doubles as a modern sideboard and functional working space. With advanced European hardware, transFORM was able to design a full-length table that extends from a single drawer in the desk, a smart solution for compact urban living. Concealed telescoping hardware allows the homeowner to effortlessly convert the desk into a table in seconds. transFORM focuses on helping people in the Metropolitan Area maximize space and recognize the benefits of having custom designed cabinetry - be it a dedicated room or just a nook.
transFORM's Design Research and Product Development Director, Daniel Steps, will begin his presentation on smart design solutions at 7:45pm. This will be a preview into the future of smart living in small urban spaces.
