He specializes in ER medicine and internal medicine associated with the Medical College of Georgia. Dr. Fogam is responsible for ER placement. He is affiliated with the A.M.A.

After obtaining his M.D. in 1981, Dr. Fogam completed his Ph.D. in 1986, both at Minsk State Medical Institution in Belarus. He obtained a M.S. in Clinical Endocrinology and Health Education from McMaster University in Canada in 1992. In his spare time he enjoys family activities, music and dancing.
