Cedar Lake Cellars Introduces New Fall Menu
St. Louis' new husband and wife chef team create special items for upcoming season.
St. Louis, MO, September 22, 2016 --(PR.com)-- Cedar Lake Cellars, a year-round winery and event venue, recently introduced its new fall menu created by husband and wife chef team Executive Chef Aaron Lyons and Chef de Cuisine Ashley Lyons.
New appetizers include duck confit sliders served on a Companion roll with apple slaw and a fried quail egg, as well as a hummus plate featuring a trio of chilled spreads including red pepper hummus, roasted garlic hummus and spicy black bean hummus served with crispy Companion french bread. Dinner additions include shrimp and grits, boneless short ribs, and sous-vide Midwest quail.
The winery’s Lakeside Grille will introduce a variety of barbecue sandwiches including smoked pork shoulder, smoked chicken, and smoked beef brisket. The menu also includes a smoked turkey club sandwich. All are served on Companion rolls.
The winery offers a rotating list of fresh cheeses from Golden L Creamery in Silex, MO., as well as seasonal meats and sausages from Behrmann Meat and Processing in Albers, Ill. Cedar Lake Cellars uses produce from local farmers including Reckamp Farm in Foristell, MO.
Cedar Lake Cellars is open year-round Fri. through Sun. from 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. for those 21 and older with live music scheduled throughout the weekend. The restaurant seats 90 indoor and 120 patio diners with a wine bar that features 15 Cedar Lake Cellars wines, 3 Swans handcrafted wines from the West Coast, 25 wines of the world, craft and domestic beers, and signature wine slushies.
