GSF Mortgage Welcomes Dynamic Team in Iowa

De Witt, IA, September 24, 2016 --(PR.com)-- GSF Mortgage Corp. is pleased to welcome Jessica and Brian Friis located in DeWitt, Iowa. They join TeamGO with a combined 14 years of mortgage industry experience.

Jessica Friis has been immersed in the industry for most of her life; her father is a builder and her stepmother is a Realtor. Her mother owned a mortgage company branch office, which Friis ended up buying to help her mother. In 2011, she joined a large bank where she became the youngest branch manager in the company. She quickly built up a successful team that ranked among the top 10 in loan production. During this time, she worked with Tammy Ernst, a current Regional Manager at GSF Mortgage.

Brian Friis has been in the mortgage industry for two years and has mentored under Jessica, his wife. He finds the industry to be rewarding and loves helping his customers through the entire home mortgage process. He puts his own twist on his loan origination style: he is always available for the customer that gets off of work at 5 pm or up at 4 am. He is even known to respond to emails in the middle of the night, as he understands not everyone has a 9-5 schedule.

When the Friis’ are not helping customers purchase or refinance their home, they are giving back to their community by donating their time or teaching children with special needs about farm life first-hand on their farm where they own a team of Clydesdale horses. They love being able to share their unique presence with children and believe that children should be brought up in a home that includes a yard and dirt. They also are involved with Junior Achievement at their local schools.
