Vrai Launches Contest to Find the Couple Planning the Greenest Wedding
Oak Brook, IL, January 24, 2008 --(PR.com)-- Vrai, an eco-friendly company concerned with assisting environmentally conscious couples to capture and plan their wedding day in eco-ethical ways, has announced a new contest for couples planning a green wedding. Couples can submit stories about their green wedding plans for a chance to win a Vrai photo package that will include travel (U.S. only), up to 10 hours of coverage, paperless proofs and an online gallery (a $5000 value). The wedding must incorporate a green philosophy and do its best to minimize the impact on the planet and maximize the impact on the community. Couples can visit the Vrai site, www.vraiphoto.com, for tips and ideas on how to plan a green wedding.
Submissions can be mailed to PO Box 5212, Oak Brook, IL 60522 or e-mailed to info@vraiphoto.com and must include the plans already made or to be implemented, a 5x7 photo of the couple (sized to 300 dpi), the wedding date (must be no later than 12/31/2009) and any other information that may be helpful in making final selections. Entries will be accepted until 10 p.m. CST February 10, 2008. Three finalists will be chosen and posted to www.vraiphoto.blogspot.com on February 11, 2008 and site visitors will have the opportunity to vote for their favorite until February 13. The finalist that receives the most votes will be declared the winner and announced on February 14.
To be eligible, the wedding must occur in 2008 or 2009. Vrai has the right to select another finalist if the plans stated are not implemented.
Vrai was founded by professional photographer Kristina Carter who uses her unique background in wild life ecology to add a new dimension to her work. Weddings photographed by Kristina Carter have been published in several publications including a recent spread in the knot Chicago.
