Durango, CO, September 29, 2016 --(PR.com)-- Great Old Broads for Wilderness invites you to do your “bid” for wilderness at the 12th annual Wild for Wilderness Online Auction, going live Monday, October 31 through Sunday, November 13, 2016. This celebrated auction features adventure trips and vacation getaways, hosted homestays, outdoor gear, clothing and footwear; jewelry, art, books, and more. Proceeds support Broads’ education, advocacy, and stewardship programs focused on preserving wilderness and wild places for future generations. Some of the more intriguing items on the auction block include a 4-day Yampa River Rafting Trip donated by O.A.R.S.; a privately-guided Wolf & Wildlife Watching Tour in Yellowstone National Park; and a Wetland Restoration Tour, Wildflower Walk, and Picnic at Muir Beach in Marin County, California. Other notable items include Hennessy Expedition Hammocks; beautiful hand-painted silk scarves by Color Creek Fiber Art; and a full day of guided fly fishing with Escalante Outfitters in Utah. The Wild for Wilderness Online Auction is a holiday and vacation shopping tradition for thousands of members and supporters who participate each year. It is the major fundraiser for Broads, funding their grassroots training and education programs.
