IDI Consulting Supports Blood Cancer Research Through Light The Night Walk
The Pittsburgh-based IT company is lending its support to the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society to create a better outlook for children with cancer.
Pittsburgh, PA, September 29, 2016 --(PR.com)-- IDI Consulting is pleased to announce its participation in the 2016 Light The Night Walk. The IT consultancy has formed a fundraising team for the October 5th Light The Night Walk benefiting the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society and its fight against blood cancer.
IDI Consulting has made an initial contribution to this cause, and additional funds will be donated throughout the fundraiser. Every dollar donated to the IDI Consulting Light The Night team will be matched by the company 100%.
The overall fundraising goal for the 2016 Light The Night Walk is $870,000, with nearly half of that goal already met. IDI Consulting Managing Partner, Bill Thomas, believes wholeheartedly in the need to raise awareness of childhood cancer. “IDI Consulting is honored to partner with the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society. Someday there will be a cure for childhood cancer. Until then, we’ll help to fund the research that will make cancer-free life possible.”
